Homemade Learning Activities for Preschoolers

We love preschoolers!

During our combined 35 years of teaching and leading preschools, we developed many homemade activities, partially due to budget constraints, but even more, from a desire to tailor learning times to specific stories and educational needs.

All of these activities have been tested both in class/group and individual settings. Made from easily-obtainable items or ones already available, they provide fun, active ways to build readiness skills. Those include colors, shapes, pre-math, pre-reading, classification, sequencing, science, social studies and other concepts, all while exercising their small or large motor skills.
