Mary Jane Whitely Coggeshall was originally from Milton, IN who worked intensely in Iowa and also nationally for the women’s suffrage movement. This book includes excerpts from her speeches from public appearances during the late 1800’s including a tribute to her friend and colleague, Susan B. Anthony. She died in 1911, nine years before the Nineteenth Amendment to the US Constitution.
